According to new data released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget, Michigan’s unemployment rate for April 2012 was 8 percent. These numbers are not seasonally adjusted. However, according the seasonally adjusted data released from the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget, the unemployment rate for May 2012 was 8.5 percent, which was .2 percent higher than the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for April 2012.
